Tent of Hope
‘Tent of Hope’ was an installation for the Freeshout Festival held in Prato in 2006. For this project an indoor military tent was constructed entirely out of hundreds of rags which the city of Prato had generously donated. It stood as an open invitation for the transformation of all armies of war into civic armies. With the collaboration of Freeshout, Federico D’Orazio, and five students of the Accademia di Belle Arti di Firenze who helped realize the large patchwork cover.
