Videominuto

1993-1999

Malagigi was the jury president of the “Videominuto” international exhibition of video art for the Centro Pecci in Prato from 1993-1999. At the time the one minute long video review was very popular and attracted many show business celebrities like Paolo Virzì, Carlo Isola, Paolo Ruffini and others. A jury of the public and a jury of experts awarded money to the best video, with the results being broadcast live through Controradio which initiated the prize. Often the video reviews came from foreign associations or international art schools and were presented as “specials”. With the collaboration of Mario Bufano, Marco Imponente, Andrea Mi, and Matteo Chini.
