Children’s Embassy

2009

‘Children’s Embassy’, realized together with the Fondazione Bambini in Emergenza of Rome in 2009, enabled a private space to be transformed into a reception place for minors. Furnishings, fittings, and an opening ceremony were all developed by students of the Accademia di Belle Arti di Firenze. Kitchen, bathroom, offices, terrace, and dormitory areas all defined the layout of the Embassy which was made from interfacing combinations of industrial components, manual intervention, and recycled furniture from the old study of the journalist Mino Damato. In collaboration with the City of Rome.
