‘Un design per la scuola’ proposes innovative graphic designs in furniture and objects for children according to the New Programs in Elementary School initiative. The proposals contained in the book were also the subject of an exhibition held at the Museo d’Arte Contemporanea Luigi Pecci in Prato, which published the edition in 1990. All pages of the book, including the cover, express the design proposals through the manual lettering of a child. The design method described is illustrated by the author in the wide innovative possibilities available to teachers and children in classroom settings and laboratories for elementary and middle schools. With contributions from curators, critics and educators including Mauro Laeng, Cristina Morozzi, Alessandro Mandini, Grazia Honegger Fresco, Vincenza Fretta and Sergio Neri. In English and Italian.
