Visual Design coordinator
2003-2006
As the experimental keynote coordinator of Visual Design from 2003 to 2006 for the Accademia di Belle Arti di Firenze, Malagigi filled a role created to meet the needs of projects surrounding domestic and social environmental issues, while also possessing skills within the field of visual representation including design narrative and multimedia, as well as mastery of the English language for use in technical and verbal exchange. Personalities from the world of contemporary culture were invited to give lectures such as Oliviero Toscani, Sergio Risaliti, Luigi Lombardi Vallauri, Mino Damato, Massimo Mattioli, Luigi Ciotti, Simone Siliani, Emilia Telese, Maurizio Giani, Roberto Ziliani, Stefano Scialotti, Luigi Baldelli, Tim Braun, and Sislej Xhafa. Foundational courses such as 3D Design, Technology, Representational Techniques have been joined by Anthropometry, Photography, Beauty, Colour, Pedagogy, Mass Media, and English. Texts of works by students were edited thanks to contributions from sponsors.
