These training activities were often conceived as the transfer of skills previously acquired into a practical working of the arts. From founding pathways in organizations such as the Scuola di Design di Ancona in the 1970s, to teaching experiments in China since 2010, Malagigi has always encouraged practice through workshops. As an initiator of the Erasmus exchanges and the Accademia di Belle Arti di Firenze from the late 1980s onwards, he has sought to facilitate mobility between European and non-European countries through student training and development.
